David N. Eadington
A fifth-generation native of Southern California, I received an MA in Comparative Literature from UCLA, and spent more than a decade working in translations before a career in operations management across the printing, software, and picture framing industries.
I began writing poetry in my teens, and my poetry has appeared in the anthologies Beyond the Lyric Moment and The Poetry Mystique, along with numerous print and online publications. I was also named a Newer Poet of LA by ALOUD and the LA Poetry Festival in 2010.
In 2017-18, I wrote my first novel, Forge of Moonlight, a YA Fantasy, and found representation with Sebastian Godwin at David Godwin Associates, Ltd. based in London. Unfortunately, we could not find a publisher at that time. I have since completed two further manuscripts: A Fae of the Realm, an Arthurian upper-YA fantasy, and Onshore Flow, a near-future thriller that Kirkus Reviews calls “Bracing, guilt-haunted SF-noir set against the timely backdrop of a politically divided America.”
I am also an award-winning photographer, specializing in landscape and portraiture. You can find my work here: http://dne-photos.smugmug.com/
I now live in Bradford-on-Avon, England with my wife and our black cat, Kitara. I am a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, and am currently working on my next novel.
